Fuzzy Logic and Genetic Algorithms for Intelligent Control and Obstacle Avoidance

Abstract
     In this paper, fuzzy logic control systems and genetic algorithms are integrated for intelligent control of a mobile robot in the presence of an obstacle. Genetic algorithms are employed as an adaptive method for selection of the fuzzy rules of the system.
