| This paper deals with an optimum shape problem using genetic algorithms. We propose to find the influence of the boundary of a shape for a vibrating membrane on its pure tone. Firstly, given a spectrum, we propose a method to find the corresponding shape of a membrane. Secondly, given a ratio between the frequencies of the first fourth natural modes, we propose a method to find the shape of a corresponding harmonic drum. | |
